Environmental health and safety (EHS) is one of the most important performance drivers for Cargill. We do business in a way that protects the environment and the health and safety of our employees, contractors, customers and the public.
Cargill is involved in an improvement process with aims to:
- Monitor behaviors
- Prevent risk through frequent auditing, training and education and the implementation of good safety measures
- Maintain a high level of employee awareness and involvement — not just during, but before and after work
Some Cargill products are only approved for use in certain geographies, end uses, and/or at certain usage levels. It is the customer's responsibility to determine, for a particular geography, that (i) the Cargill product, its use and usage levels, (ii) the customer's product and its use, and (iii) any claims made about the customer's product, all comply with applicable laws and regulations.
