These snack roll examples are 10 inches long, whole wheat yeast dough rolled around a sticky sweet filling much like a jelly roll.  The fillings can be fruits like apple or raisins, exotic spices or chocolate.  The snack roll is rolled in grains and seeds before baking to add interest and crunchy texture.
